The U.S. presidential primary is set for Tuesday, March 5th, 2024, with absentee voting starting on January 19th.

The civil trial for writer E. Jean Carroll’s defamation suit is scheduled to start the same day as the caucuses too.
On December 19, the Colorado Supreme Court ruled that Mr. Trump was ineligible for the state's primary under the 14th Amendment's "insurrection clause." Maine followed suit on Thursday.
Challenges related to this issue are pending nationwide, with decisions still pending in 14 states.
