On the 22nd anniversary of the tragic 9/11 terrorist attacks, former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard took to her social media platforms to question why President Joe Biden was notably absent from Ground Zero in New York City. Her message was clear: she believes that the Biden administration might want Americans to move on from this historic event and focus on other issues, including new, potentially more lucrative wars.
In a video transcript shared on her social media handles, Gabbard expressed her disappointment over President Biden's absence at the site of Ground Zero, where the Twin Towers once stood. She posed the question, "Why not?" suggesting that perhaps the President wishes to divert public attention from the events of 9/11, its perpetrators, and the motives behind the attacks.
Gabbard's concern revolves around the notion that the Biden administration aims to shift the nation's focus away from the long-standing threat of jihadist terrorism towards other issues. She points to "politically advantageous" wars, such as the debates surrounding education and the stance of patriotic Americans, as potential distractions from the ongoing battle against terrorism.
The former Congresswoman further asserts that the Biden administration, along with mainstream media outlets, may be intentionally downplaying the reality that jihadist terrorists, who seek to establish Islamic caliphates worldwide, remain a significant long-term threat to the United States and the global community.
While Gabbard acknowledges the heartfelt tributes and speeches made by various politicians on the anniversary of 9/11, she emphasizes what is often left unsaid: the identity of the attackers, their motivations, and the ongoing efforts by jihadists to acquire weapons of mass destruction. She emphasizes that these jihadists are not only a historical concern but a continuing threat to global security.
Having served alongside special forces in Africa and witnessed the jihadists' unwavering commitment to their mission, Gabbard is resolute that they have not forgotten their goal of harming the United States and freedom-loving people worldwide.
In her closing remarks, Gabbard reassures the American people that they are not mere bystanders but individuals who refuse to forget the lives lost in the 9/11 attacks. She, along with countless patriots, vows to remember the victims and remain committed to defending the values of freedom and democracy that define the United States.
As the nation reflects on the somber anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, Tulsi Gabbard's message serves as a reminder that while some may wish to move on, the enduring threat of jihadist terrorism remains a stark reality that requires vigilance and unwavering dedication to preserving the nation's security and values.
Why isn't Biden here in NYC at Ground Zero? Perhaps because he wants the American people to “move past” or forget about this attack, who carried it out & why. They’d rather us focus on new, bigger, more lucrative wars. But we are not sheep. We will #NeverForget pic.twitter.com/FEzssu3sfZ
