He claims that China is the main beneficiary of President Biden's energy policies and that high energy prices in America are a gift to China, a major factor in driving heavy industry overseas.

The former President believes that if the United States wants to be an advanced manufacturing nation, it must be able to produce low-cost energy and that if it wants to de-industrialize, it must drive up the cost of energy. He also claims that Biden's energy agenda is China's energy agenda and that China signs up for every globalist climate deal and then immediately breaks it.
