The Obama rally crowd size hit the maximum venue capacity in Detroit, Michigan.

Barack Obama Rally in Michigan
Barack Obama Rally

How many people attended Barack Obama's rally in Detroit?

I am at the Renaissance High School in Detroit right now, which I was told is now at maximum capacity. You can hear music and you can see Obama supporters all around the venue at this hour. All of them came here to listen to Barack Obama’s Michigan speech today. According to Detroit Fire Marshal Donald Thomas, around 3000 people were there to attend this rally.

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is here with former President Barack Obama for a grassroots event on October 29 in Detroit. This massive rally was also attended by many other Democratic leaders including Garlin Gilchrist II, and Haley Stevens. There’s so much at stake in the upcoming election, and it’s imperative that we elect Michigan Democrats up and down the ballot in November, in just a few short weeks.

MI Sec of State Jocelyn Benson tells the crowd waiting for former President Obama that there is "a national coordinated attack on the future of our democracy," and "Michigan is ground zero." She is referencing candidates who have denied the outcome of the 2020 election.

Doors were open at 10 am at Renaissance High School at 6565 Outer Dr. W, Detroit, MI 48235. Supporters with their vehicles used the high school parking lot. All attendees went through airport-like security and bought as few personal items as possible. No bags, sharp objects, umbrellas, liquids, or signs were allowed in the venue.

As former President Barack Obama acknowledges the attack on Paul Pelosi, he was interrupted by a heckler in Detroit, who is then pointed out by the audience and escorted out.

At the Detroit rally for Whitmer, to the crowd's reaction when he mentions the GOP candidate's policies: "Don't boo! Vote. They can't hear you boo. But they can hear you vote. "

And a second heckler was also ejected. Obama had been calling for calm in the crowd when hecklers opened up during their speech, saying don't get distracted by such things.

  1. More smoke and mirror lies. Still waiting to hear what the democratic party has done that benefited the American people and what the hell they plan to do moving forward. If they had a plan they would be speaking about it. A country can not sustain on hating trump -we need solutions not more problems. Every time a Dem speaks it makes me know that my vote of straight republican party across the board is a smart decision-a common sense decision. If the Dems are so fixated on abortion as the American people highest priority issue they could not be farther from the truth. If they used common sense, they would see that all Americans eat, are paying top dollar for gas and food, and I assure you that while abortion is an issue for discussion, it certainly is not the top priority. And for all you morons who wonder why so many Americans back Trump-it's because of his policies that have proven to make sense and are totally America first. He does not just stand up at his rallys and bit-- about Dems, he speaks of where we came from and the plan for the future to fix all the shit that has been broken during this administration. And as far as our vice president, please stop her from speaking public ally, she is a total embarrassment to our country.

    1. If you are so purposely ignorant that you have failed to read and track the numerous economic accomplishments in the last two years, that's on you and either your outright laziness or your functional illiteracy. ProPublica, the nonpartisan investigate journalism group, reviewed all of the economic data since 2009 to show Trump's tax cuts helped to create the 3rd largest deficit increase of any President ever. https://www.propublica.org/article/national-debt-trump. By passing the Inflation Reduction Act, the current administration has lowered by almost half, the costs of insulin for the estimated 15.9 MILLION senior citizens with diabetes. https://www.cnbc.com/2022/08/16/inflation-reduction-act-to-cap-costs-for-medicare-patients-on-insulin.html#:~:text=The%20bill%20limits%20insulin%20copays,prescription%20drugs%20starting%20in%202025. The administration also just oversaw the biggest drop in the deficit EVER, cutting it in HALF during fiscal year 2022. From January 2021 to the middle of this year, the net wealth of the bottom 20% jumped by $1.23 TRILLION - an average of about $43,000 per household AFTER inflation (which is global, despite what you think, and you would know that if you bothered to lift a finger to search) https://washingtonmonthly.com/2022/10/20/cmon-democrats-tout-your-economic-record/
So basically, you're peddling bullshit like all members of the Gaslighting Obstructing Projectionist pedophiles, because the GOP has shit for an economic platform. The ONLY thing they EVER do is cut taxes on the wealthy and increase them on the middle class. So either learn to read and do math, or shut up.

    2. Haha, reduction act. What has reduced and the cost for every other pharmaceutical and everything else for that matter, has sky rocketed. The proof is on the shelves and what comes out of all our pockets- not what some lying politicians say at their hate rallies. You know we are in trouble if even crooked Hillary-the loser- is coming out to Rally for Biden. Democrats have become so far left they can not see right! Maybe if they would put as much time, energy and money into doing what is right for our country instead of trying to convince the American people that republicans are all racist, evil people-they may have a half of chance. Last time I checked tax payers pay their wages and the tax payers are getting hurt by all their BS policies. LEFT IS NOT RIGHT!

  2. Just picking Kamala Harris to be Vice President was the Dems first mistake. This decision was and is a total waste of taxpayer dollars. She has not done anything and I mean anything to benefit the American people. Her rambling on about riding on a yellow school bus-seriously? Oh boy-what a disaster. Our border zar? Then get your ass down there and see what is really going on and fix it. Other countries watch these politicians we have in office and think they have hit the lottery!

  3. I think the turnout they get for their rallys is because people think they are going to a comedy show and they have a great chance to be on the blunder takes that will be aired on Fox!

  4. By the way, I have diabetes and have not seen a REDUCTION in cost so please tell me where you get these so called reduced cost insulin pharmaceuticals? If you actually pay for your medicine, meaning you are not on a state paid for medical plan, you would see that deductable are sky high and the plans do not cover much. What planet are you living in that you see that the Dems have made things so great? You probably believe we should be welcoming all the illegals crossing our open boarders to, right? And that it is Americans tax dollars should be supporting them, am I right? I think the news you are listening to is as crooked as Hillary- no wonder your confused.

Tim Burchett Calls for U.S. Exit From NATO, Citing Cost and Constitutional Concerns

Tim Burchett BREAKING: Rep. Tim Burchett Calls for U.S. Exit From NATO, Citing Cost and Constitutional Concerns WASHINGTON, D.C. — Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) has called for the United States to withdraw from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), arguing that the alliance has outlived its original purpose and continues to impose enormous financial and military burdens on American taxpayers. “NATO was created to counter the Soviet Union, which collapsed over thirty years ago,” Burchett said. “Since then, U.S. participation has cost taxpayers trillions of dollars and continues to risk U.S. involvement in foreign wars.” Burchett framed his argument around constitutional principles, warning against what he described as permanent foreign entanglements. “Our Constitution did not authorize permanent foreign entanglements, something our Founding Fathers explicitly warned us against,” he said. “America should not be the world’s security blanket — especially when wealthy countries ...
