Donald J. Trump, the 45th President of the United States of America will visit North Carolina Friday night, hoping to build support around endorsed GOP candidates for Congress ahead of the upcoming midterm elections in 2022.
Trump’s “Save America” rally in Wilmington on Sept 23, will feature several GOP speakers. This includes U.S. Rep. Ted Budd, the Republican candidate vying for a seat in the U.S. Senate. He is against Democratic opponent Cheri Beasley for the seat being vacated by Sen. Richard Burr.
Guest Speakers for this Trump rally also include U.S. Rep. David Rouzer, Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson; Bo Hines, and Michael Whatley, chairman of the North Carolina Republican Party (NCGOP).
Today, the Parking lots and registration will open at 8 a.m. in the morning, then doors will open at 2 p.m. and speakers will start taking the stage at 4 p.m. to deliver their speeches. Donald Trump is scheduled to speak at 7 p.m. RSBN, OANN, and Newsmax will live stream the rally online. RSBN will broadcast the rally all day starting at 12 P.M.
At the time, Trump's last visit to North Carolina was alongside Ted Budd and other candidates he had endorsed in the Republican primary at a Trump rally in Selma on April 9, 2022. At that time, Trump also endorsed Hines and Rep. Madison Cawthorn. Madison lost to GOP primary challenger Chuck Edwards. Hines won and will face Sen.
