President Trump will hold a Save America rally in Pennsylvania to campaign for television star and Republican candidate, Dr. Mehmet Oz, and Doug Mastriano for Governor. Analysts believe that President Trump's endorsement will help the GOP candidates win the midterm elections in 2022. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis also held a Unite and Win rally in Pittsburgh for Mastriano last week.

Could the president's support have the same results as Dr. Oz's?

Earlier in the primary race, both of the candidates were down in the polls and had trouble fundraising. That all changed when he got Donald Trump's endorsement, and that really helped him win.

The dynamics in Pennsylvania could be a little bit different than in Ohio. In Ohio, Trump is very popular among Republicans; he won that state in 2020. In Pennsylvania, he lost. President Trump is also expected to speak about his recent raid by the FBI at Mar-a-Lago.

Dr. Oz, who is running against Democrat John Fetterman, has reinforced the position of his anti-abortion right. He did so in a televised debate a couple of days ago. Interestingly, the former president has been largely silent on this subject since the big supreme court leak. We know this is a relatively new issue, but what can we expect to hear from him?

The question is how Republicans will campaign on this in the general election. And Trump brings up a really interesting point. Because in 2016, Republicans coalesced around Donald Trump because they knew that he could play a huge role in reshaping the supreme court and courts across the country. And also, this issue was something that unified Republicans in a way that few other issues do.

It will be interesting to see whether the former president starts touting this as an achievement. It is something he puts out as an achievement in terms of conservative principles. He did say he would appoint pro-life justices to the supreme court. That will lead to what we expect to be his overturning of Roe v. Wade.

Republicans on Capitol Hill have not really been touting this as a victory, at least not yet. They have been focused instead on the leak of the draught decision, not so much on the substance. That is because, when you look at polling, a lot of Americans support keeping Roe v. Wade in place.

Even though there are a lot of nuances when it comes to the types of restrictions. But could this become a liability for Republicans? Democrats are thinking that they are going to be able to galvanize a lot of folks on this issue. It will be very interesting to see how the former president brings this up in his next Trump rally, given his key role in reshaping the courts to get to this point.
