Nitendra Singh Rathore is an Indian politician of the Indian National Congress (INC), hailing from the state of Madhya Pradesh. Nitendra is going to fight a by-election from Prithvipur Assembly as by-polls are to be held there. Earlier this year, former Congress minister and sitting party MLA Brajendra Singh Rathore (father of Nitendra Singh Rathore) passed away due to Covid-19 that has necessitated the by-poll. Prithvipur Vidhansbha comes under Niwari District, Situated in the farthest end of the Bundelkhand region, Niwari is the latest district created by the BJP-government three years ago. Famous for Orchha’s Ram Raja temple, it borders the district of Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh. Nitendra is famous in his region and people called him "Neetu Bhaiya". He has a son Kunwar Prithvi Singh.
