CWC दिल्ली में हो रही घोर हिंसा, जानमाल के नुकसान और हर रोज बिगड़ती हुई स्थिति पर चिंता व्यक्त करती है : कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष श्रीमती सोनिया गांधी,

भाजपा के अनेक नेताओं ने भड़काऊ भाषण देकर डर और नफरत का माहौल फैलाया। ऐसा ही बयान एक भाजपा नेता द्वारा पिछले रविवार को भी दिया गया, इस भाजपा नेता ने दिल्ली पुलिस को 3 दिन का अल्टीमेटम देते हुए कहा, "3 दिन बीतने के बाद हमें कुछ नहीं कहना।"

72 घण्टे में केंद्र और दिल्ली सरकार द्वारा जानबूझकर कुछ कार्रवाई न करने के कारण 20 से ज्यादा जिंदगियां जा चुकी है, दिल्ली पुलिस के हेड कांस्टेबल की जान गई है और पत्रकार सहित सैकड़ों घायल हुए हैं।

उत्तर-पूर्वी दिल्ली में हिंसा फैली है। CWC परिवारजनों को खोने वाले परिवारों के साथ संवेदना और घायलों के शीघ्र स्वस्थ होने की कामना करती है, दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री और सरकार भी शांति बनाए रखने में पूरी तरह विफल साबित हुए हैं और जिम्मेदार भी हैं। दोनों सरकारों की विफलता के कारण देश की राजधानी इस त्रासदी का शिकार बनी है,

1. पिछले रविवार से देश के गृहमंत्री कहाँ थे और क्या कर रहे थे?

2. पिछले रविवार से दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री कहाँ थे और क्या कर रहे थे?

3. दिल्ली चुनाव के बाद खुफिया एजेंसियों द्वारा क्या जानकारी दी गई और उन पर क्या कार्रवाई हुई?

4. रविवार की रात से कितनी पुलिस फोर्स लगाई गई, जबकि दंगे फैलने की आशंका थी?

5. जब दिल्ली के हालात बेकाबू थे; दिल्ली पुलिस का नियंत्रण नहीं बचा था, तो सेंट्रल पैरामिलिट्री बलों को क्यों नहीं बुलाया गया?

हर मुहल्ले में शांति समितियों का गठन किया जाना चाहिए, जिसमें सभी समुदायों के सदस्य शामिल हों ताकि यह सुनिश्चित किया जा सके कि कोई अप्रिय घटना न हो.

CWC ने सभी कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं और नेताओं से प्रभावित क्षेत्रों का दौरा करने और हिंसा से पीड़ित लोगों के परिवारों को हर संभव सहायता देने और समुदायों के बीच सौहार्द बनाने का आह्वान किया है

There is a well-planned conspiracy behind the continuous traumatic accidents that have been happening since last Sunday. The country saw this conspiracy during the Delhi elections as well: Congress President Smt. Sonia Gandhi, Many BJP leaders have been spreading an atmosphere of fear and hate by making inflammatory speeches. A similar statement was given by a BJP leader last Sunday too.Giving the Delhi Police a 3-day ultimatum, this BJP leader said, "after three days we will say nothing." The Central Government, especially the Home Minister, is responsible for the current situation in Delhi. Taking responsibility, the Home Minister should resign with immediate effect.

In the last 72 hours, more than 20 lives have been lost due to deliberate inaction by the Centre and Delhi government. The Chief Minister & the Government of Delhi have also proved to be a complete failure in maintaining peace and are also responsible. The failure of both governments has made the country's capital a victim of this tragedy. CWC asks on behalf of the nation:

1. Where was the Home Minister of the country since last Sunday and what was he doing?

2. Where was the Chief Minister of Delhi since last Sunday and what was he doing?

3.What information was given by the intelligence agencies after the Delhi elections and what action was taken on that?

4. How many police forces were put in place from Sunday night, when there was a possibility of rioting?

5. When the situation in Delhi was uncontrollable, Delhi Police could not control the situation, why were Central Paramilitary forces not called?

The Congress Working Committee believes that the situation is grave and it requires urgent action. Adequate security forces must be deployed immediately to bring the situation under control.

Senior civil servants must be deployed in each district to take charge of the administration, to ensure administrative machinery responds to the evolving situation.

CWC appeals to people of Delhi to reject politics of hate & do their best in healing the rifts caused by these shameful events, to help rebuild all that has been lost & to ensure that such events do not take place ever again.
