पी चिदंबरम के अलावा भी कई लोगों पर FIR दर्ज थी, लेकिन बीजेपी ज्वाइन करते ही वो पवित्र हो गए ?

           

 पिछले दो दिनों में देश दिनदहाड़े लोकतंत्र के साथ न्याय की हत्या का गवाह रहा है। सत्ता में बैठे लोगों द्वारा सीबीआई/ईडी का इस्तेमाल राजनैतिक रंजिश के तौर पर किया जा रहा है, पूर्व गृह और वित्त मंत्री पी. चिदंबरम के साथ दुर्व्यवहार, दुर्भावनापूर्ण और सुनियोजित तरीके मुकदमा चलाया जा रहा है, जो मोदी सरकार द्वारा निजी और राजनीतिक प्रतिशोध से कम नहीं है, उनके नियंत्रण से बाहर हो रही अर्थव्यवस्था, बढ़ती बेरोजगारी, रुपये के अवमूल्यन और सभी क्षेत्रों में बेलगाम संकट के बीच अब हम वो सब देखेंगे, जो एक हताश मोदी सरकार 2.0 देश का ध्यान हटाने के लिए करेगी, कुछेक कठपुतली समाचार चैनलों के साथ सांठ-गाँठ करके भाजपा प्रचार मशीन पूरी तरह से बेबुनियाद, नकली समाचार और एकमुश्त झूठ के लिए काम करती है। तथ्य उनके दावे का समर्थन नहीं करते हैं, मामला 2007 से संबंधित है और पी. चिदंबरम की गिरफ्तारी मामले के 12 साल बाद और पीएम मोदी के सत्ता में आने के 6 साल बाद होती है। न तो उन लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है, जिन्हें FIPB की अनुमति दी गई है, न ही कंपनी के अधिकारियों को, जिन्होंने अपराध किया है, 40 साल के समर्पित सार्वजनिक जीवन वाले एक अनुभवी व्यक्ति को जेल में बंद महिला के बयान पर गिरफ्तार किया गया है, जिस पर अपनी ही बेटी की हत्या का आरोप है और जेल से स्वीकृति का बयान दिया गया है, आईएनएक्स मीडिया मामले में न तो श्री पी. चिदंबरम और न ही उनके बेटे पर किसी अपराध का आरोप लगाया गया है। इसके अतिरिक्त, FIR में पी. चिदंबरम के खिलाफ कोई अपराध नहीं बताया गया है और न ही आज तक कोई आरोप पत्र दायर किया गया है, कार्ति चिदंबरम पर उसी मामले में 4 बार छापा मारा गया, गिरफ्तार किया गया और जमानत पर रिहा किया गया। वह 20 से अधिक सम्मन के जवाब में उपस्थित हुए। फिर भी जांच अधिकारियों के पास पी. चिदंबरम के खिलाफ अदालत में आरोप पत्र पेश करने के लिए कोई सबूत नहीं है, मामला एक ऐसी महिला की गवाही पर है, जो वर्तमान में जेल में है, उस पर अपनी ही बेटी की हत्या का मुकदमा चलाया जा रहा है। देश के लोगों के सामने स्पष्ट करने की आवश्यकता है कि वह कौन सी डील है जो जेल में की गई है? श्री पी चिदंबरम की प्रतिष्ठा को अपमानित और कलंकित करने के भाजपा सरकार के निम्नस्तरीय इरादे के अलावा सीबीआई और ईडी के पास धावा बोलकर उन्हें आधी रात को गिरफ्तार करने का कोई कारण नहीं था. पी चिदंबरम भारत के सम्मानित अर्थशास्त्रियों और राजनेताओं में से एक हैं। उन्होंने हर बार जांच अधिकारियों को सहयोग किया है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट के एक वरिष्ठ वकील के रूप में उनके पास संविधान के लिए सर्वोच्च सम्मान है। उन्होंने किसी कार्रवाई को नहीं टाला और न ही ऐसा इरादा था.

Over the last two days, India witnessed the broad daylight murder of democracy as also the rule of law, by government hellbent upon using CBI and ED as personal revenge-seeking departments for the party in power as also those ruling the country, The vindictive, malicious and selective manner in which former FM and HM P Chidambaram has been persecuted and prosecuted is nothing short of brazen personal and political vendetta by Modi govt. With narrative on sinking economy spiraling out of their control, unprecedented job losses, shocking devaluation of rupee & unfathomable crisis in all sectors, we now see the depths to which a desperate Modi Govt 2.0 will stoop to divert the nation’s attention, While the BJP Propaganda Machine in cahoots with puppet news channels, works desperately to churn out falsehoods, fake news, and outright lies, the facts simply do not support their claim. The matter pertains to 2007 & arrest of P Chidambaram has been made after a dozen years, 6 years after PM Modi came to power. Neither have those been arrested who have been given so-called FIPB permission, nor officials of the company that committed the crime. Yet a seasoned man with 40 years of dedication to public life has been arrested on the statement of a jailed woman who is being charged with murdering her own daughter and the approvers statement has been given from jail. Neither Shri. P. Chidambaram nor his son, have been accused of any offense in the INX Media case. Additionally, there is no offense disclosed against P Chidambaram in the FIR, nor a charge sheet has been filed till today: Karti Chidambaram was raided 4 times in connection with the same case, arrested & released on bail. He appeared in response to over 20 summons. Yet investigating authorities lack any evidence to present a charge sheet to court, placing any evidence against P Chidambaram. The case seems to rely solely upon the testimony of one approver, currently in prison, being prosecuted for the murder of her daughter. What is the deal that has been done in prison with an approver is something that the people of this country need to determine, Except for the blatant intent of the BJP Government to humiliate and tarnish the reputation of Shri. P. Chidambaram there was no occasion or hurry to arrest him in the middle of the night by sending CBI and ED sleuths. P Chidambaram is one of India’s most respected economists & politicians. He has cooperated fully with investigating authorities on every occasion. A Senior Advocate of SC, he has highest regard for Constitution & never evaded any proceeding nor has he intended to. Despite the hostile atmosphere prevailing under the patronage of the BJP Government, there was no allegation against Shri. P. Chidambaram vis-à-vis either influencing a witness or tampering with the evidence in any manner.After 5 years of investigation, authorities are unable to come out with any allegation or a compelling case against P Chidambaram. This leads to only one conclusion - false charges are being heaped upon senior political rivals to silence anyone and everyone.Can the authorities answer and place before the public the nature of the charges against Shri. P. Chidambaram instead of engaging in a media trial through selective news channels to character assassinate him.We, as a nation, must rise up and refuse to be silent spectators to the death of democracy. We Stand with Shri. P. Chidambaram and reiterate our unwavering belief in his innocence.We hope that the officers who scaled the walls of his house in their eagerness to please their political masters, as also select portion of the media, have the courage to tell the PM & HM, that there is zero evidence of any case against P Chidambaram.We have faith that the Rule of Law, which is under attack from the ruling BJP Government, shall prevail and the life and liberty enshrined in the Constitution will not become a dead letter for years to come hereafter.
